Dr. Renee Moran

Dr. Girardot welcomes Dr. Moran to our practice:

My staff and I are delighted to welcome Dr. Renee Moran as an addition to our practice. I have for quite sometime been looking for a talented orthodontist to work in our practice who shares my values and treatment goals of health, function and stability as well as attractive smiles.  Dr. Moran is strongly committed to those goals and the Roth Orthodontic Philosophy that is necessary to achieve the goals.

As a teacher in orthodontics for over thirty-five years I have seen many intelligent and talented young students.  Renee is as good as it gets.  Add to that her caring manner and friendly personality, and you have the ultimate professional.    I am excited to work with Renee and to introduce her to our patients and colleagues.

Dr. Moran was born and raised in Danville, Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Notre Dame for her undergraduate study and then, after a year of service with Americorps, came out to Denver for dental school at the University of Colorado. At CU, she was awarded a full scholarship through the Air Force and graduated in the top 10% of her class. She then went on to attend a 1-year general dentistry residency at the Air Force Academy and worked as a general dentist for 3 years at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, FL. The beach was nice but she and her family missed the mountains. She decided to come back to CU to attend its orthodontic residency program where she received her certificate in orthodontics and Master of Science degree. Graduating top in her class, her faculty presented her with the “Resident of the Year” award.

Dr. Moran is very interested in practicing orthodontics with the same bite correction philosophy as Dr. Girardot and is very excited to have such a great mentor. It is her desire to help better educate the public on the importance and benefits of having a healthy and functional bite for life-long stability of the chewing system as well as a spectacular smile.

Dr. Moran is American Board of Orthodontists eligible and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association and all of their local chapters.

In her free time, Dr. Moran enjoys staying active and spending as much time as possible outdoors with her husband, Colin, and their three boys: Andrew, Dean and Keith.
